You lost sleep thinking about them. You would countdown the days till you could see them next. When they did something out of character, you blindly defend them. When they let you down, you knew next time it would be different.
Oh by the way, I’m talking about a sports team.
This isn’t funny anymore for Toronto Raptors fans, Casey. It has failed too many times.
When there’s chance to tie or win the game on the final possession, every Raptors fan knows what is coming. At this point, it’s pointless for Casey to even call that final timeout. We know what he’s drawing on that dry-erase board.
As some of you woke up January 1st feeling like that Baylor kicker from the Cotton Bowl after his punt was blocked, I was busy coming up with some predictions for the next 365 days in the world of sports.
Are these predictions thought through? Mostly.
Are they ridiculous? Kinda.

I have never been the biggest soccer fan. I usually only watch it when either the World or Euro Cup is on. I, myself haven’t played since I was about 12 years old.
I know it’s kicking a dead horse at this point but I need to talk about Mike Trout.

It was a somber ride home on the TTC for Toronto Raptor’s fans after their heartbreaking Game Seven loss. By my count, I saw two people crying, at least three clearly holding back tears, and one poor soul with a thousand-yard stare.
